Hand‑spun metal parts, up to 60 inches across

SRJ Metal Works is a family shop in La Puente, California. We spin aluminum, copper, brass and steel by hand for lighting makers, manufacturers and fabricators across Southern California, and we've been doing it since 1992.

One shop for the spun part and everything around it

Most spinning shops hand you a raw part. We can also cut, bend, weld and powder coat it in the same building, so your part leaves ready to install.

Metal spinning

Every part is spun by hand on our lathes, from one-off prototypes to production runs of 4,000. We make and own the tooling, and keep it on file for your repeat orders.

  • Diameters up to 60 in.
  • Aluminum, copper, brass, steel and stainless
  • Domes, cones, cylinders, shades and covers

Why buyers come back to SRJ

Over three decades of spinning has taught us what our customers care about: parts that match the print, quotes that come back fast, and reorders that don't start from scratch.

Spinning since 1992

Raul Rizo has spun metal by hand for over 30 years. He still runs the lathes, and his family runs the shop.

Tooling kept on file

We build and own the tooling, then store it. Reorders skip the setup cost and the wait.

7-day typical lead time

Tooling and production usually take about a week, depending on the part and the quantity.

Quotes in one business day

Send a drawing or a sample part, and you'll get a price back the next business day.

White-label shipping

We ship in plain packaging with no SRJ branding, so parts go to your customer under your name.
